The story behind Roopkund Lake?
Roorkund Lake holds a mysterious past and is popularly known as Skeleton Lake. Hundreds of skeletons were found near the lake and were believed to have been first spotted by the British guard. In the beginning, it was said that they were from the World War II soldiers, but later scientific discoveries declared that they were the belongings of the Indian Locals and pilgrims. Some hailstorms caused the incident, which, after years, is still a sight of attraction and surprise for trekkers and people who go there.
